Nov 23, 2007· The stock 36 degree helix don't load the motor hard enough on the low end which result in less power transfered to the track. Swap the secondary spring to a silver/blue to go with the steeper helix.

Dec 26, 2015· The initial angle should be at least 21 points higher then the finish angle to work properly as a compound helix. So let's say 44 is your finish angle, add 21 points to this, that's 65. This is why the stock 58/ sucks as a compound helix.
